San Jose Children’s Choir

Ages 5 - 12

Children LOVE to sing…and they can do so with precision!

Now accepting Registrations for the San Jose Children’s Choir.

SJCC is taught by Ms. Eva and Mr. Miguel on Saturday Afternoons.

The class is 75 minutes long and is divided up into three, 20 minute sections. The first 20 minutes is dedicated to develop a strong awareness of excellent vocal technique through vocalizations focusing on musical Pitch - Ear Training and Rhythms. The Second and Third sections of the class are focused on learning the repertoire and songs. We will learn various genres of music from Broadway Tunes, Classical and Traditional Cantatas, Pop Songs, Patriotic and Folk Tunes. Music Theory will also be explored and discussed.

Lastly, children will also learn proper Performance Stage Etiquette which includes how to properly hold a microphone, posture, stage presence, poise, and confidence.
